1. Privacy at EimiPlay
This policy describes how EimiPlay handles personal information in connection with our website, games and player support. In this document, “we” means EimiPlay and “Services” means those experiences. EimiPlay is responsible for the information it processes for its own Services.
Not every visit or game involves the same information. What is relevant depends on the platform, the features available and the choices you make. A notice within a particular game may explain additional details. Platforms that host games and stores that distribute them also have their own privacy policies for the information they handle.
For privacy questions, write to support@eimiplay.com. The request process in section 8 covers access, correction and deletion.
2. Browsing the website or contacting support
You can read the EimiPlay website without creating an account on it. This website does not include advertising or analytics scripts and does not itself set cookies. The hosting infrastructure may still process technical logs, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages and access times, to deliver and protect the site.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. A game name, player ID, device details or a screenshot may help us investigate a problem. We use the information relevant to answering your request and following up on the issue.
Please leave out passwords, full payment details and personal information unrelated to the problem. Sending a support message does not make it public or enroll you in promotional messages.
3. Information connected with play
Where a game or its platform uses the following information, it may include:
- Player details: a platform-provided player identifier, display name, avatar or language setting. Information available through social features is limited by the platform and relevant permissions; it does not mean we receive your complete friends list.
- Play records: progress, scores, preferences and session interactions used to provide the experience and understand how it performs.
- Device and connection details: operating system, browser or device characteristics, IP address, error reports and an approximate location inferred from the connection.
- Purchase records, where purchases are offered: the item, transaction reference and payment status received from the payment provider. Payment credentials entered with that provider are handled under its own notice.
A feature that needs extra information, such as an uploaded image or precise location, must explain that request when it is offered. This policy does not give permission to open your camera, read your contacts or access your location.
4. Why information is used
Our purposes include keeping a game working, remembering progress, resolving support requests, understanding faults, improving usability and protecting players from fraud or abuse. Information may also be needed to meet recordkeeping duties or address a dispute. Advertising and analytics, if included in a game, are covered separately below.
Where a legal basis is required, we use the basis appropriate to the activity:
- Providing an agreed service: processing needed to deliver the experience you request.
- Legitimate interests: proportionate security, troubleshooting and improvement, where your rights do not outweigh those interests.
- Legal obligations: processing needed to meet requirements that apply to us.
- Consent: optional activities for which permission is required, including certain tracking or communications.
You may withdraw consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Reading this policy is not consent to optional data use.
5. Who else may handle information
We may use providers for hosting, technical operations, security and support. Relevant information is shared for their tasks under appropriate restrictions. A game platform or payment provider handles the parts of an experience it supplies. Advertising or analytics partners receive information only where those services are used and applicable requirements are met.
Some features are visible to other players. For example, a leaderboard or social feature may display your name, avatar or score. Consider the audience before using a sharing feature.
We may also disclose information where reasonably needed to meet a legal requirement, investigate misuse, protect rights or carry out a business transfer. Applicable safeguards and notice requirements still apply.
Providers and platforms may operate in other countries. Where a transfer is restricted, we use an applicable transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, together with additional measures where necessary. Contact us for information about relevant destinations and safeguards. Playing a game does not, by itself, authorize an otherwise restricted international transfer.
6. Storage technologies, ads and messages
Although this website has no advertising or analytics scripts, a game or its host platform may use cookies, local storage or software development kits. These can support progress saving, settings, performance measurement or advertising.
Where advertising or analytics are used, the game notice or consent interface will explain the relevant partners and choices. Non-essential tracking and personalized advertising remain off until permission is given where consent is required. You can change available choices through the game's controls, your browser, or platform and device settings. Blocking storage needed for a game may affect saved progress.
Where local law treats an advertising disclosure as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising, applicable opt-out rights and required preference signals will be respected. This website does not include those advertising technologies.
Optional reminders and promotional messages require the relevant permission or other lawful basis. You can use an unsubscribe option or platform messaging controls to stop them. Replies to support requests and necessary service messages are handled separately.
7. Keeping information and protecting it
We keep personal information for the time needed for its purpose. That assessment includes whether you still use the game, whether a request is resolved, whether records are needed for a dispute or fraud investigation, and any legal retention requirement.
Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified. A limited record may need to remain where retention is permitted or required by law. Backup copies are retired through their normal lifecycle and are not used for routine active processing.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards suited to the information and the risks. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. If you suspect an account compromise, secure the account with its platform and notify support@eimiplay.com.
8. Your choices and deletion requests
Your location and the circumstances determine which rights apply. These may include access to your information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, an objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out from certain advertising uses and disclosures. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Exercising an applicable right will not result in discrimination.
Send a request to EimiPlay
- Write to support@eimiplay.com. For deletion, use “EimiPlay data deletion request” as the subject. For another request, explain what you would like to access or change.
- Name the game and platform, and include your player ID if you have one. Do not send a password or payment card details.
- We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity or locate the records. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any exception that prevents us from completing the request.
Removing a game from a platform may stop its connection without deleting information already held by EimiPlay. For Facebook Instant Games, use the connection and deletion controls available in Facebook settings and contact us to request deletion of records we hold.
Where applicable, an authorized agent may act for you with evidence of authority. You can also contact us to appeal a decision about your request.
9. Younger players
Our Services are not intended for children under 13. A higher minimum may apply under local law or the rules of the platform used to play. Players who have not reached legal adulthood need appropriate permission from a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact support@eimiplay.com so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
10. Questions and changes to this policy
Privacy questions and concerns can be sent directly to support@eimiplay.com. Include the game or website page involved so we can understand the context.
As our Services change, we may revise this policy. We provide additional notice of material changes where required. If a new use of information requires consent, we ask for that consent before beginning the activity.
